A nostalgic piece of South African cycling heritage, the DHC Supersport captures the charm of classic road racing from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its striking chrome-effect finish, colourful period detailing and traditional steel frame are complemented by vintage Simplex components, Weinmann brake levers and Mavic tubular wheels. A beautifully preserved example of an era when bicycles were built with simplicity, craftsmanship and timeless character in mind.
While it carries the character and age-related wear expected of a vintage bicycle, it remains fully functional, mechanically sound and ready to ride. It is ideally suited to a collector, vintage enthusiast or rider looking to enjoy a distinctive piece of cycling history.
The bicycle has no visible structural cracks or significant structural concerns. Please note that, owing to its age and vintage components, it should not be compared with a new performance bicycle.
